TEMCA Women Network was founded to support women in technology through mentorship, networking, career development and community.
TEMCA Women’s Network x Springboard: Launching Our First Career Fair in Scarborough TEMCA Women’s Network, in partnership with Springboard, proudly hosted our inaugural in-person Career Fair in Scarborough, Ontario a pivotal step in advancing our mission to expand career opportunities for women in technology.
The event connected participants directly with hiring managers, industry professionals, and mentors, while offering on-the-spot resume reviews and guidance on high-demand fields such as data, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and software development.
In January 2024, TEMCA proudly launched its flagship mentoring program: a 5-week intensive experience designed to guide, empower, and accelerate the growth of women in tech. Through personalized mentorship, participants gain clarity on their career paths, build confidence, and receive strategic guidance from seasoned professionals.
Alongside this, we introduced our tech training and workshop series, offering hands-on, practical learning for women transitioning into tech or upskilling in high-demand areas such as cloud, data, and AI. These programs demonstrate our commitment to equipping women with the tools, network, and knowledge needed to thrive in today’s evolving digital workforce.
- Preparing for the International Women’s Day Conference, featuring expert discussions on workplace rights, leadership, and mental health.
- Launching a paid membership platform, offering exclusive career resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
